Riptide 35 TooLoco formerly Ripple, originally built for Jonathan McKee Olympic gold medalist where she took podium finishes for years in the Pacific Northwest. As Ripple she took first place in her class at her PAC cup debut.
TooLoco is Paul Bieker designed 5700 pound ultra lightweight water ballasted planning machine. She carry’s one of the highest sail area to displacement ratios you find for any sailboat on the water at over 40-1 ( the J125 comes in at 30-1).
During the SD 2 PV race we surfed and planed for hours on end, reaching speeds from 15-17 k hundreds of times.
