One of the things little-known about Dennis Connor is his love and appreciation for what the Cortez Racing Association does for their active and committed efforts to foster handicap racing in San Diego. Without question, there would be little to no racing for “bigger” boats to race without CRA.
As a frequent competitor in CRA races, DC did something amazing and noteworthy for CRA: He bought and is having a Grand Banks 32 put in good condition, with the goal to donate it to CRA as a permanent R/C boat.
So cool, and such a great example of DC doing what he can to offer a heavy assist to CRA to keep on keepin’ on.
