Here’s an image to give you the flavour of our little club, The Sydney Amateur Sailing Club – known as ‘The Amateurs’ and turns 150 this year (The “A” sail number signifies Sydney Amateurs.) The boats are “Ranger” classers – a local design of 24-foot gaffers from the 1930s. There are quite a few of them still racing, and they love to crowd on the sail as they scud across the Harbour. Great fun. Cheers!
