The Cascais Championship came to an end yesterday with the Medal Races. —– No changes in the 49ers: Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA won ahead of Robert Dickson/Dean Waddilove IRL. Finishing 2nd in the Medal Race, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA advanced on rank 3. —– With a 4th place in the Medal Race of the strong 49ersFX fleet, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER managed to push the previously leading Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP out of first place by one point. Olympic Champions Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA finished only 3 points behind in 3rd position. —– The rankings.
