William Jones/Evan Depaul, Royal Hamilton YC, CAN will continue the competition in the Silver Fleet. —– After another strong day in the 49ersFX, Stephanie Roble/Margaret Shea (KR/LBYC/CYC) up on 4th are now only 2 points behind rank 2. The Canadians Georgia and Antonia Lewin-Lafrance (RNSYS/CYC) on rank 19 are qualified for the Gold Fleet as well, while their teammates Ali TenHove/Mariah Millen (RCYC/KYC) in 33rd remain in the Silver Fleet. —– The results of all eight North American teams. ———————- The qualifications for Gold and Silverfleet were completed yesterday with three races by class. —– In the 49ers, Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP moved up to the first place with three race wins. Robert Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL in 3rd place are the best of the teams fighting for the last European Olympic starting berth. —– In the 49ersFX, Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA took the lead. Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Duetz NED in 2nd are already 10 points back. In 7th place, Enja Nincevic/Mihaela Zjena CRO are the best of the teams not yet qualified for Olympics. —– In the Nacra 17, Tara Pacheco/Florian Trittel ESP progressed on rank one, as Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER lost their overall lead after abandoning the third race of the day.
