The leading group, still sailing close together, has reached the southern trade winds and will traverse the equator this evening. The good conditions are now favoring the foiling boats, which are going a few knots faster. Charlie Dalin FRA (Apivia) still has a 16 mile lead over Louis Burton FRA (Bureau Valléé 2). Boris Herrmann GER is 3rd, 48 miles behind. Damien Seguin FRA follows as best non-Foiler with 93 miles behind in 5th place. The race tracker and the news.
