IMOCA Open 60 – Vendée Globe – Day 57 – Ruyant and Seguin rounded the Cape in 3rd and 4th


Last night UTC, Thomas Ruyant FRA (LinkedOut) and Damien Séguin FRA (Groupe Apicil) rounded Cape Horn in 3rd and 4th place. The duo, 45 miles apart, managed to pull away 230nm from the chasing peloton. Already sailing at the height of the Falkland Islands, leader Yannick Bestaven FRA (Mau00eetre Coq) is 145nm ahead of Charlie Dalin FRA (Apivia). The chasing pack led by Benjamin Dutreux FRA (OMIA), 618nm behind, remains close together. 685nm back follows Boris Herrmann GER (SeaExplorer) in 8th.
