IMOCA Open 60 – Vendée Globe – Les Sables dOlonne FRA – Day 6, Thomson GBR still leading after a rough night

The Vendée Globe fleet had a restless night, as West of the low Theta, the wind exceeded 50kn in some areas. Benjamin Dutreux FRA (OMIA, Non-Foiler), another old-generation Open 60, on rank 3 is 60nm behind. Damien Seguin FRA (Apicil, Non-Foiler), the leader of the first two days of racing, moved up to 6th place, 98nm behind.
