Naval engineer and boat builder, Brazilian Manoel Chaves, from MCP Yachts, reveals that the hydrofoils that equip America’s Cup 2021 sailboats are patented by him, and that he will go to court to claim the credits for his creation.
The next edition of America’s Cup , scheduled for March 2021, will have a new generation of monohull sailboats, called AC75, extremely sophisticated and with new concepts, starting with the revolutionary hydrofoil systems pivoted on the side. More here.
