IMOCA Open 60 – Vendée-Arctique-Les Sables – Day 8 – a trio in the lead

Three Open 60 foilers of the latest generation extended their lead in the past 24 hours: Charlie Dalin FRA (Apivia) is on the 1st place 2nm ahead of Jérémy Béyou FRA (Charal) and 6nm ahead of Thomas Ruyant FRA (LinkedOut). But still in the race for victory remain Kevin Escoffier FRA (PRB), backlog 15nm, and Samantha Davis GBR (Initiatives Coeur) as 5th with a 20nm deficit. Boris Herrmann GER (SeaExplorer) dropped on rank 6 after repairing the broken main halyard.
