Our series of Ocean Races presents today the official film of the for the Round-the-World-Race 1997/98, for the first time with W60 Class yachts and a points vs time (instead of aggregate leg time) scoring system to enhance the value of the shorter race legs. After 9 legs, EFG Language with Paul Cayard USA was the winner ahead of Merit Cup with Grant Dalton NZL. 9 of the 10 teams finished the race. The video.
