The 2020 Hospice Regattas Championship is being postponed. Originally scheduled for June 4-7 in Charleston, SC, the invitational regatta will be rescheduled to later in the year, per recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other agencies. We want everyone involved with the Championship to be safe and healthy,” said Jean Kluttz, vice president of the all-volunteer board of the National Hospice Regatta Alliance.
Board members are exploring alternate dates with representatives of the College of Charleston (sailing venue), Hobcaw Yacht Club (social activities venue), and Roper St. Francis Hospice Cottage (benefiting non-profit hospice). “We are looking at mid-November to hold the 2020 Championship,” Kluttz said.
