IMOCA Open 60, VOR65 – The 2021/22 Ocean Race Route is announced


Last week, the organizers announced the route for the Ocean Race 2021/22. In addition to the VOR65 used the last time, the IMOCA Open 60 foilers will be part of the race for the first time. The Round-the-World Race with fully-crewed teams (formerly Whitbread Race and Volvo Ocean Race) follows the usual route. But after the departure from Alicante ESP, the first stopover will be on the Cape Verde Islands.
