Various classes – 2020 NOOD Regatta St. Petersburg, FL, Day 2, season starter with 193 teams racing

The first of five events of the 2020 NOOD Regatta Series has been underway in St. Petersburg, FL since Friday. 193 teams split in 17 One-design and PHRF fleets completed 5 races so far. Impressive the 40 A-Cats, split half-and-half in foiling and classic multihulls. Dominating leader in the foilings is Bruce Mahoney (La Porte, TX). Important fleets also in the Lightnings (23 boats) led by David Starck, Amherst, NY, the Melges 24 (15 boats) dominated by Peter Duncan, Rye, NY and the J/70 (17 boats) led by David Jannett, Miami Beach, FL. with their teams. —– All ranking lists after 5 races. —– The competition will be concluded today Sunday.
