Take a look at this footage we shot on Sunday during the 2 heat of the 18ft Skiffs Australian Championship.
A ferry decided to sail right through the race course and over the bottom mark.
We have very clear rules about how the fleet has to deal with the ferries namely that they rule…… and we have to at all times stay away from them. Normally not a problem as the fleet and the ferries co exist without too may issues……… Sunday was not the case. The Skiffs that got through were gone, the ones caught on the wrong side had to wait.
