We don’t really care much about SailGP, (and given that they clearly hate us), but we found this excerpt from their latest press release to be interesting:
“Although China SailGP Team had a successful first season, unfortunately we do not get the permits needed to continue to manage the team within our structure. SailGP still interested in continuing the plan provided, supporting both a Chinese team, the development of an academy sailing in China, if we can reach an agreement in the future. “
Really? That’s some mighty fine negotiating there, Sail GP. And some nice grammar.
