The favorite Charal of Jérémy Béyou FRA/Christopher Pratt GBR was 41nm ahead of the mixed team Clarisse Cremer/Armel Le Cléach FRA this morning UTC. Another 35nm back were Charlie Dakin/Yann Eliès FRA on rank 3. Charlie Enright/Pascal Bidegorry FRA on rank 5 had a backlog of 114nm. —– The westerly group, over 400nm behind the leader, was still sailing at half the speed this morning. With a 481nm backlog, Alex Thomson/Neal McDonald GBR were 18th, followed 5nm back by Boris Herrmann/Will Harris GER/GBR as 19th and Alan Roura/Sébastien Audigane SUI/FRA as 20th sailing neck and neck. —– In the Class 40, Jan Lipinski POL/Adrien Hardy FRA extended their lead on 12nm.
