Big Pimpin'

that’s a good sign

Part of the inspiration behind the ‘Sailing Vessel Class Insignia’ poster I designed earlier this summer was how the class insignia all seemed to be in rough shape.  There are no shortage of low quality logos unsuitable for use on large scale prints, and many variations that lead to issue with class standards.  It isn’t entirely surprising, most sailing classes are volunteer run and class logos are passed around to t-shirt printers, sail-makers, engravers, etc. and with each hand-off they degrade a little more.
I’ve invested countless hours to remaster these logos and improve the quality so now I’m happy to make high quality digital downloads of them available for everyone to use.  These can be used as a “gold standard” to help elevate the quality, professionalism, and brand of each class.  The insignia can be found here.
The logos are large, 8″ x 8″ at 300dpi and are perfect for all promotional material processes: engraving, etching, silkscreening, laser/vinyl cutting, etc.  With end of year class & yacht club parties coming up, this is an easy way to ensure awards and gifts all come out looking their best.
The small download fee, ($7.50USD/$10CAD) allows to recoup some of the costs incurred from hosting and download service costs for this service.
To help kick off this new product, I’ve created a 20% off discount code for all Sailing Anarchy readers (posters included).  Simple enter “ANARCHY” at checkout and the discount will be applied.
