The 2019/20 Australian 18-Footer League on Sydney Harbour was kicked off last Sunday with new boats and new teams. Winner of race 1 in the Spring Series, sailed in light winds, was Noakesailing with Sean Langman/Ed Powys/Nathan Edwards AUS 32sec ahead of Kitchenmaker with Jordan Girdis/Lachlan Doyle/Tom Quigley AUS. During the whole summer, 18-Footer racing with spectator boats and betting activities is an important entertainment in the Australian metropole.
