Yesterday in Marseille FRA, Tom Slingsby AUS and his Australia SailGP Team defeated Nathan Outteridge AUS and his Japan SailGP Team in the Grand Final of the the inaugural season of the event. Slingsby won the much disputed final 10-minute matchrace to secure the Trophy and the US$-one-million prize money.
