Finishing 1/1/3 in the three races sailed yesterday in lighter winds, the two time Americas Cup winner Alinghi with Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI distanced the rest of the fleet and with a 16 points advantage before the planned five races of today, they have a strong option on the GC32 World Champion title. Oman Air with Adam Minoprio NZL are still on the 2nd place, but INEOS UK Rebels of Ben Ainslie GBR have joined them point-wise. The second-best team of the day were the defending champions Team Tilt with Sébastien Schneiter SUI advancing on rank 4 only 5 points behind the podium.
