A 15 to 20kn south/southeasterly wind prevailed yesterday at 1600 hours ET for the 13 yachts from 5 nations, starting south of Marthas Viney to the Transatlantic Race 2019 leading over 3000nm to Cowes GBR. After the first night, the three largest boats, SHK Scallywag HKG (Dovell 100), 31nm behind Wizard USA (Juan K VO70) and another 3nm back Aegir GBR (Rogers 82) were in the lead. —– The news of day one, the race tracker and the event website
