Jeanneau America is excited to announce the North American launch of the Sun Fast 3300! Grand Prix designer Guillame Verdier and rating-rules expert Daniel Andrieu created this bold offshore-capable sport boat by combining concepts from the world of high powered offshore racing with the already successful Jeanneau Sun Fast line. These designers have finally delivered the boat that sailors everywhere have been waiting for; a high performance racer designed to excel under mainstream rating rules while capable of sailing fully crewed or shorthanded.
In the emerging field of 32-34 foot offshore sport boats, the Sun Fast 3300 is the lightest by a significant margin, offering the highest performance in this new style of racing. Designed to excel in running and reaching conditions, the massive sail plan is carried significantly aft, as well as the keel and center of buoyancy, a concept developed by Verdier in his other projects, such as the Commanche program.
Jeanneau is happy to be part of this community of racers and will be looking for opportunities to support the growing interest in distance/offshore racing in the United States.
