Olympic Worldcup – Finals – Marseille FRA – Final results after Medal Races, best US result McNay/Hughes 8th in 470 men


No change on top of the 470 men with Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS clearly winning ahead of Jordi Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP and Hippolyte Machetti/Sidoine Dantes FRA. Stuart McNay/David Hughes USA won the Medal Race but remained on the 8th place overall. —– Camille Lecointre/Aloise Retornaz FRA succeeded to control the one-point-leading Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre GBR right from the start and covered the GBR women in a matchracing style till the end. Mas-Depares/Cantero ESP earned Bronze. —– A very light breeze filled in only very late in the afternoon in Marseille FRA yesterday, just before the latest possible start time for the two 470 Medal Races. —–The two Laser and the Finn Medal Races scheduled earlier had to be cancelled due to lack of wind. Andy Maloney NZL finished first in the Finns. —– In the Lasers, the winners were Giovanni Cocolutto ITA in the Standards and Viktorija Andrulyte LTU in the Radials. —– All ranking lists and the final report.
