Laser Standard & Radial – Barcelona Master Championship – Barcelona ESP – Day 1, with USA, CAN and MEX participants

As a tune-up event to the Laser European Masters Championship at the Spanish Catalan Coast, the Barcelona Championship was initiated with two races. —– In a good breeze around 20kn, Alan Davies GBR took the lead in the Standards (46 participants, 13 nations, 3 continents). The Olympia medalist José-Luis Doreste ESP and Thomas Müller GER are tied on rank 2. With José-Maria Van der Ploeg ESP on rank 4 follows another Olympic Champion (Barcelona 92, Finn).
