INEOS with Ben Ainslie GBR (and Giles Scott GBR) – winner of the only race on the opening day – follows 4 points behind on 3rd. The leader in the owner/driver rankings Alinghi, steered by Ernesto Bertarelli SUI, is new on rank 4 after a successful day (except race 3 with equipment failure and rank 10), including a race win.
