Finn – European Championship 2019 – Athens GRE – Day 4 – no racing – SUI and USA can grasp 2020 Olympic nations berths today

No wind yesterday at the Finn Europeans in Athens and the Medal Race qualifications were concluded after 8 races. Norway and Brazil on the ranks 9 and 10 are herewith qualified for the 2020 Olympic Regatta . In the final race of today, Nils Theuninck SUI on rank 11 and Caleb Paine USA 8 points back on 12th will endeavour to grasp the remaining two berth for their nations. Ioannis Mitakis GRE, only 2 points behind Paine, is their main opponent. —- Giles Scott GBR has a solid 15 point lead before the Medal Race and will not fail to take another title. Zsombor Beresz HUN and Andy Maloney NZL will fight for Silver and Bronze. —- The other North American Finn sailors are on the ranks 14 (Tom Ramshaw CAN), 42 (Luke Muller USA), 47 (Kyle Martin) CAN, 60 (Eric Anderson USA) and 75 (Quinton Gallon CAN). —- The results, the news and the video of the day.
