15h UTC this afternoon, the 33 Figaro-3 two-person teams still in the race will start to the second leg of the Sardinha-Cup. After the first leg sailed in light winds, the longer 405nm course ahead will challenge the teams with fresher winds from an inital 15kn breeze to up to 25kn, and to keep the Figaros – now equipped with foil – at top speeds will be demanding. After the first shortened leg, the time gaps between the boats are minimal, and the major changes in the rankings can be expected. The preview. As always, racing can be followed over a race tracker.
