The other staysail thread got me thinking about this. When I bought my boat last year it came with a ton of old sails (remember when sails were baby blue?), that I really never took out of their bags. One of them was an old Sobstad kevlar daisy. Having been born in the mid 80’s, I’ve never really sailed with one, so my questions are:
1. How should it be properly rigged? I’m assuming it would be tacked about were the foreguy is at the deck, then sheeted to the rail?
2. When should it be used and at what angles? It seems like a real light sail.
3. Is it worth ever bring down to the boat, or is it better to be made into a cool shower curtain?
