Sun and good winds – not as stormy as on day one – prevailed again on the 2nd day of the Olympic Speed Classes Grand Prix in Vilamoura POR. In the 49ers, Justus Schmidt/Max Böhme GER won both heats of their group taking the overall lead ahead of Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP on 2nd and Peters/Sterritt GBR on 3rd. In the 49ersFX, Vilma Bobeck/Malin Tengström SWE are on top of the rankings after 3 races. Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR and Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Dütz NED follow on the ranks 2 and 3. In the Nacra 17, Quentin Delapierre/Manon Audinet FRA were the only team with three top finishes so far and they lead with a 14 point advantage on Ben Saxton/Nicola Boniface GBR.
