The inaugural SailGP event on the former Americas Cup catamarans transferred in One-Design Foiling F50 multihulls was held this morning UTC on Sydney Harbour. Winners of the three races were Team Japan with Nathan Outteridge AUS and twice Team Australia with Tom Slingsby AUS. The Japanese are the interims leaders after the first day one point ahead of Team Australia who had a bad first race (4th).
