One of the more entertaining races at the Extreme Series San Diego event were the Bic O’Pens. Not only were there quite a gaggle of them, but they ran the craziest courses ever. So they would sail along and then a course boat would say things like, “You have to do a 360 after you round the next mark”, or “On the next leg, you have to capsize, right, and continue racing.
