The little Tom Goron – a whopping 12 years old – just beat the crossing of the Channel alone in Optimist. Starting at 7 am this Wednesday, June 27, in Needles morning off the Isle of Wight, he traveled 60 nautical miles in 14 hours and 20 minutes.
