Bitchin’ stuff from the mates off the Elliott 50 canter, Ran Tan II…
Brian Petersen’s Ran Tan II took line honours in the Auckland to Noumea race this week. The first 2 days brought 35-40 knots up the coast, which made navigating North Cape pretty bumpy! Luckily we had SoCal native Brian Kent onboard and he put us on the numbers yet again almost nailing the reef entrance lay line from 150 miles out!
The final 24 hours saw “glamour’ downwind conditions into the finish.
