Cold, whales, big waves, big Northerlies and thirty five pounds of foul weather gear…Pacific Northweat Sailing at it’s finest!  Today marks the start of the Oregon Offshore International Yacht Race.  200 NM from Astoria to Victoria Canada starting at Buoy 17 and ‘Coho Sally’ just over the Columbia bar.  22 boats will take on the North Pacific coming from Canada, Seattle, Portland, and Astoria.
