It is good to see that in some circles they still know how to do things right.
At the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club there was little speculation last evening about the cause of the tragic loss of John Fisher from the Hong Kong Volvo Ocean Race entry, Scallywag.
Just a respectful minutes silence called for as all those gathered at the Rolex China Sea Race Skipper’s Briefing.
We all stood, some with heads bowed, some with blank stares but ALL showing complete respect for the request.
Sail on John, I can’t say I’ll miss you because I won’t pretend that I knew you but of those I have spoken to who did, none had a bad word.
