His new ride is “Synergy”…his son commandeered “Scizzor”. “Synergy” was intended to convert to an outrigger to paddle up the St. Mary’s River, then convert to “scooter mode” for the remaining 40 mile portage per the Florida Ultimate Challenge. – Anarchist Mark. Randy Smyth, previous record-setting winner of the Everglades Challenge, and his trusty steed Sizzors has withdrawn from this year’s race. It was blowing pretty good off the west coast of Florida. The Coasties picked up Randy’s signal and were soon at the capsize site for an uneventful rescue. Anarchist dacarls.
