Some sounds cost a lot of money to hear. The price of this bang is yet to be determined, but chances are if you have to ask- you probably can’t afford it. This photo was taken at the point of impact between the Santa Cruz 70’s Grand Illusion and Pyewacket at the Campbell Cup in Long Beach this past weekend. And here is another shot post impact.
Roy Disney was struck by the bow section and has sustained a shoulder injury that required immediate medical attention. Pyewacket will undergo repairs and is expected to return to racing next year. We wish Mr. Disney a full and speedy recovery.
