It was shortly before three o’clock this Wednesday, June 8, Lionel Péan and his crew took the start of the Sunlight Islands’ Cup aboard SFS, WOR 70. It is by a westerly breeze / northwest 15 to 20 knots sprang SFS, arrived this week from the beginning of the Old Port to complete its preparation for the Giraglia Rolex Cup.
By beautiful sea, on the course proposed by the Sunlight Yacht Club Of Malmousque (SYCOM), SFS to set a reference time for a Class 70 ’75’ of …………… ..1 37mn hours. …… He was accompanied for logistics and media coverage by a rigid LOCALANQUE of the company, the first partner SYCOM about the event. The route precisely, about 25 nautical miles, is a loop around the main islands close to Marseille cited: starting in front of the cove Malmousque (between the turret and the Canoubiers Island hanged), turn the archipelago of Friuli, before crossing the island Maïre, around the island of Riou and return to the starting line.
