Joseph Henriot passed away this Monday. He was well known in the French wine industry but he was also a passionate sponsor and a great sailor. He sponsored the Charles Heidsieck boats. Two of them quite famous. Charles Heidsieck III almost won the 1981 Whitbread and Charles Heidsieck V was the first “ocean foiler” (in 1983!!) but was too heavy to fly at that time.
