Last weekend during (yet another) New England Blizzard our frostbite racing hut escaped the comfy confines of the harbor in Winthrop MA, and was seen by the US Coast Guard Cutter William Hanna floating across Boston Harbor. It traveled nearly 5 miles to Point Allerton and ended smashing on the rocks with debris landing on nearby Nantasket Beach.
Cottage Park Yacht Club’s Frostbite community and Junior Sailing programs use this hut as center of activity, and a rebuild/replace is very important to successes of these organizations/communities.
