The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Public Accounts in Bermuda will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, 12th February 2015 at 2:30p.m. in the Senate Chamber at the Cabinet Building.
“It is expected that the Standing Committee will deliberate on matters relating to public funding for the America’s Cup, and hear testimony from the Permanent Secretary for Economic Development,” a spokesperson said. “The Public Accounts Committee is comprised of Members of Parliament and is authorized by the House of Assembly to closely examine and report on matters relating to the accounts showing the appropriation of the sums granted by the Legislature to meet the public expenditure of Bermuda.
