With the news that Frisco is officially out of the America’s Cup, our insiders are now telling us that, primarily due to their tremendous race management skills, awesome race venues, and warm hospitality, both Fresno Yacht Club and now the Stockton Sailing Clubs are under serious consideration to host the 2017 America’s Cup.
“How could we not consider them?”, noted one high ranking official. “Just look at what they are both all about – they embody everything that is good and right about the AC. From surly, self-righteous, poor decision making, to hostile treatment of anyone who is not them, these pricks are a perfect, if a somewhat low-brow, continuance of all that is the America’s Cup.”
