FRESNO, Calif. — A 35-year-old man pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Jorge Guevera attempted to sell 17 pounds of methamphetamine to an undercover Kern County deputy in June 2013. They met in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant, and Guevera was arrested. Guevera is scheduled to be sentenced in July and faces the possibility of life in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Fresno.
