Actually it is, especially for this series. From the parking lot known as Hot Rum #1 today in Dago. A whopping 6 out of over 100 starters made the 4:30 finish deadline in a dreadfully light air race on an otherwise beautiful day. The Ed, Snapper, Sean Kelly, Rodrigo Doll and owner Phillip Infielise on the FT 10 MHK were not one of them!
UpDate: But what’s really awesome for us (and the other 118 boats that didn’t finish) is that our DNF”s are being scored on the number of finishers, not starters. So instead of having 29 points in class and 124 overall, we have a tidy 2/7, and a series that is winnable. Thank you Scoring Genie! May we have another wish?? Results here and photo thanks to KMag.
