Think of this, pack the boat, fill-up the car, check airline flights, pack the batteries, one last call to your crew, then you remember I don’t need no crew….I’m going to another American Model Yachting Association– Victoria Class National Championship in San Antonio!!! better pack the Asprin, because San Antonio means “THE SHOW” by the Woodlawn Sailing Club known for massive quantity of food and brew!!!!
Welcome to the 2013 Victoria National Championship!!! Start off with the Friday evening's party at the Host Hotel. Get greeted by HS Marching Bands on Saturday morning. Go through the Opening Ceromonies and get ready for the Battle at the Alamo! Only to break for a 100lbs of Texas BBQ Brisket for lunch. Finish racing for the day, and then head for the Saturday Evening's Dinner at a great Mexican Restaurant and be greeting by beautiful Tequila Girls handing out free shots. Enjoy a great dinner, drink more Tequila, buy more Raffle Tickets and settle in for a very high priced Raffle give-away….Note to self….More Tequila=More Raffle tickets=Cant read my numbers!!!!!…..argh!
Back to Hotel on the Margarita Express Shuttle, take Asprin, get ready for Sunday. Skippers Meeting Sunday morning with one last Raffle prize for Skippers only….your Weekend Entry Fee back to you!!! Have more races, more food and free ALAMO Beer, and then settle back for the 41 “Thank You” Trophies for 41 Skippers. Thank the Sponsor, Give money to the San Antonio FOOD BANK as the Charity, and then all praise the new 2013 Victoria National Champion – Brig North of Dallas, TX
