trick or treat

The CRA Halloween Regatta in Dago this weekend provided more trick than treat for the Columbia 30 Mosh Pit. They were looking pretty good here, but then not so great here. We feel bad for them…

From owner Matt Anderson: We were hitting around 9.5 knots, got hit by a gust but it wasn’t major, and the mast just went down. No noise before hand, it just went down. The crew did a great job and we got the main on the boat pretty fast. The spin got ripped and it took a while to get that on the boat. We were drifting towards North Island so it started to get a little sketchy. We got the boom off and the mast on the boat, got jib and spin and all lines on the boat and fired up the engine. Crazy experience.  Photos thanks to Cynthia Sinclair
