In a near total reversal of race #1 today – including the fact that the race actually wasn’t abandoned – Oracle put the wood to Deano and the boys, and just straight punked ETNZ in the only race completed today, winning by 1:24. Showing what for all the world looks to be a clear boatspeed advantage in anything around 12 and up, Spithill forced a foul on the first run and took it from there, winning comfortably to live to see another day.
