Big Pimpin’
This is the latest video from Norway which was an ultimate proof of concept for our Seascape 27 as an offshore racer. We believe there is no excuse for a modern 27 ft boat not to be seaworthy. And as it turns out 27 is best example of that. First we had comparison test with a lake specialist Saphire 27 where we came out pretty even. And on the Watski Two Star Skagerrak – double handed 200M offshore race in Norway we ended up beating everybody on the second leg (coming 4th on the water) while being by far the smallest boat.
Even in general (first leg was 80M of upwind with up to 25-30kt wind) we still came 3rd in the group with a rating same as J109. And you have to keep in mind that that was after almost 3000km of driving arriving only just before the race. And then we packed her and two days after the race party the Seascape 27 SLO2 was already on German Chiemsee ready to discuss Code0s and other light wind boosting features.
