Race Report

So the Cabo race is on.  On Timeshaver, We are sailing just about rumbline with a TWA of 45-50 in about 6-7 kts of breeze.  Not ideal for a J-125 but after a great start we led the fleet away from Newport Pier. The Rogers and SC-52 Sin Dudah were over early and Horizon in our bad air gave us all the room we needed.

Eventually Horizon squirted out in front and the Rogers finally got back in touch after clearing themselves.  We are happy with the progress so far but are praying for wind and a wind shift so we can get out code 0 going.  I think we will have a nice advantage on the Santa Cruz boats when this happens. – K-Mag.
